Sanam was born and raised in Calgary.

She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary before attending law school at the University of Kent in England.

Sanam was called to the Alberta Bar in 2022 and now practises exclusively in personal injury law.

ADVOCACY BEFORE LAW

Before pursuing law, Sanam spent several years working alongside a non-profit organization that supported youth with developmental disabilities.

Her transition into the legal profession developed naturally from her commitment to advocating for people who could not always advocate for themselves.

Sanam’s personal, educational, and professional roots are firmly established in Calgary.

Outside her legal practice, she enjoys discovering new restaurants, spending time in the mountains, and being with her German Shepherd mix, Benji.
